Missoula Community Coffee Gathering June 8th 10:00-12:00

Join us at our home base in Missoula this Saturday, June 8th, to sample coffee, share stories, and kick off our summer coffee share program. You'll get a chance to meet friends and neighbors, see the roasting operation, and hear a bit about the story behind these beans. We'll do a few roasts to show you how the coffee goes from green to delicious, and new members to the local coffee share program can take home their first jar hot off the roaster.

Feel free to drop by for a quick visit, or settle in with a cup and stay a while. Kids are welcome, and can help generate some local art for our bag and jar labels.

Contact us with any questions or for directions to our place via car, foot, or bike.  mary@forestvoices.org, or 406-240-1050.

Missoula nonprofit looks to make global connections through trade, storytelling

“What we’re trying to do is connect farmers and their stories with people here at home in the U.S.” Jackson said. “We’ll imbed ourselves with coffee farmers during the height of the coffee harvest, and we’ll assist them harvesting and processing their product.”

“When it comes down to it, at the end of the day, it’s the stories that people remember,” Jackson said. “It comes down to working with communities, solving problems and building trust. It’s about people’s lives.“
